NOVA Elementary School Classroom with DownviewIt seems all we hear about, when it comes to schools, is budget cuts.  It's true many public school districts and state funded colleges and universities are seeing some difficult times lately.  But overall, studies show increases in just about everything from enrollment, to expenditures, to support.

Between 1985 and 2009, public school enrollment has increased by 26%.  In pre-K through grade 8, that number is a remarkable 29% increase.

The number of school teachers has risen by 12% in the last ten years.

And college enrollment has increased by 50% from 1990 to 2008.

I won't bore you with any more percentages.  But suffice to say, the educational market continues to grow.

With more students and more teachers comes the need for more furniture that includes computer workstations, desks, lecterns, and office furniture for administrative personnel as well!  It's true the availability of funding for many schools in many states has been a bit tumultuous this year.

Everyone recognizes the need for a better educated society.  So as budget crunches ease, the funding for educational institutions will no doubt begin to flow steadily allowing purchasing to resume normal levels.

The key will be having the right product that solves a variety of needs throughout the school.  From the principal's office to the classroom to the library, NOVA Solutions' economical, space-saving, multi-functional, technology integrated products solve problems.  Creating a multi-use classroom that provides accommodation for computer and non-computer related classes is a top economical consideration.  And quite frankly, no one offers a better solution than NOVA.
